Video and Data Privacy

Last updated: September 18, 2026

Camera footage can contain personal, sensitive and operational information. KVABI evaluates each requested video-analysis or deployment workflow around authorization, purpose, access and an appropriate processing design.

Before providing footage

  • Confirm that you control the footage or are authorized to provide it
  • Use footage relevant to the agreed evaluation purpose
  • Avoid sending footage by ordinary email or through an unapproved public link
  • Do not share camera passwords, NVR credentials or private network information

Secure-transfer process

The public retail campaign form does not accept video uploads. After reviewing a request, the KVABI team may provide approved transfer instructions together with the expected purpose, access and handling process.

Deployment privacy

Deployment design may include edge or on-premise processing, selective event evidence, retention controls and role-based access. The customer remains responsible for notices, lawful authority, workplace or consumer privacy requirements and appropriate use in its jurisdiction.

AI-assisted event review

Visual-intelligence events should be reviewed by an authorized person before consequential action. AI-assisted potential visible weapon detection and other alerts are awareness aids and cannot guarantee that every relevant event will be identified.
